Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon has displaced Bill Gates as the world richest man in Forbes Real Time Billionaire ranking. Aliko Dangote has however remain the richest man in Africa and was joined by Mike Adenuga in the global billionaire club according to Forbes real time ranking of World’s Billionaires.
At the end of today’s business trading, Jeff Bezos owner of Amazon an online market platform in United States had a total assets of $91.7 billion having added $2.4 billion worth of assets to his stock by the end of day’s trading. He followed by Bill Gates whose Microsoft lost $51 million in asset to become the second richest man with a total assets of $90 billion.
The third richest as at the close of business today is Amancio Ortega of Zera fame from Spain who has amassed $83.5 billion. His worth increased by $269million as at the end of business on Thursday.
The fourth global billionaire is William Buffett with a total asset of $74.2 billion. His business lost 215 million at the end of Thursday business activities.
The fifth World Billionaire is 33 year old Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg who is now worth $71.9 billion. His outfit gained $3 billion after Thursday trading. In the six position in the World’s billionaires club is Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico who is now worth $69 billion. Seventh is Larry Ellison a software developer worth $62.2 billion, Eight position is Michael Bloomberg with as asset base of $53.3billion. Ninth is Bernard Arnaultof France worth $53.2billion and 10th Charles Kochwho has diversified business interest in the United States with asset base of $48.5 billion.
Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote remains Africa richest man with assets of $16.2 billion haven gained the sum of $162 million, he is the 68th richest man in the World. Another Nigerian that featured in the real time World’s Billionaire ranking by Forbes is Mike Adenuga who is ranked 261 with assets worth $6.2 billion.
