The market’s recovery was bolstered by buying interest in MTNN (+3.47%), OANDO (+0.90%), and ACCESSCORP (+0.21%), which outweighed losses in GCTO (-0.38%) , ZENITHBANK (-0.79%) , and UBA (-0.75%). Consequently, the year-to-date (YTD) return increased to 31.34%, while the market capitalisation gained ₦60.29bn to close at ₦59.53tn. Analysis of today’s market activities showed trade turnover settled lower relative to the previous session, with the value of transactions down by 0.40%. A total of 939.41m shares valued at ₦12.81bn were exchanged in 9,098 deals. WAPIC (+1.71%) led the volume chart with 457.64m units traded, while MTNN (+3.47%) led the value chart in deals worth ₦4.32bn. Market breadth closed positive at a 1.89-to-1 ratio with advancing issues outnumbering declining ones. GOLDBREW (+9.93%) topped thirty-five (35) others on the leader’s log, while JOHNHOLT (-9.96%) led eighteen (18) others on the laggard’s table.
