As a result, the year-to-date (YTD) return rose to 41.40% while the market capitalisation rose by ₦35.67bn to close at ₦39.66tn.
Analysis of today’s market activities showed trade turnover settled higher relative to the previous session, with the value of transactions up by 58.02%. A total of 411.21m shares valued at ₦6.95bn were exchanged in 6,870 deals. UPDCREIT (0.00%) led the volume chart with 42.03m units traded while GTCO (+0.25%) led the value chart with deals worth ₦902.20m.
Market breadth closed positive at a 2.62-to-1 ratio with advancing issues outnumbering the declining ones. INFINITY (+10.00%) topped thirty-three (33) others on the leader’s table while OMATEK (-10.00%) led twelve (12) others on the laggard’s log.
