As a result, the ASI year-to-date (YTD) return rose to 32.78%, while market capitalisation gained ₦132.01bn to close at ₦56.16trn.
Analysis of today’s market activities showed trade turnover settled lower relative to the previous session, with the value of transactions down by 36.49%. Market breadth closed negative at a 0.78-to-1 ratio with declining issues outnumbering the advancing ones. OANDO (-9.86%) topped twenty-two (22) others on the laggard’s table while ETERNA (+9.80%) led seventeen (17) others on the leader’s log.
