The director said that an additional 322 million dollars was also disbursed to small and medium-scale entrepreneurs during the period. He said that the efforts had created and sustained over 300, 000 jobs and generated more than one billion dollars in foreign exchange earnings for the country. “Since our appointment in 2009, the executive management has taken steps towards resolving the challenges facing the institution”. The steps taken include major strategic repositioning exercise aimed at significantly transforming the operations of the Bank,” he said.
