Federal Government has said that it set aside the sum of N200 billion to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in 2014.The amount is to enable the manufacturing sectors generate job opportunities and foster economic growth. Nura Rimi, the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, said this during a capacity-building workshop for MSMEs in Lokoja, Kogi State.
The workshop focused not only on capacity building, but also provided a platform for networking, encouraging collaboration and idea-sharing among MSMEs. This commitment to the MSME sector aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, recognising the pivotal role of MSMEs in driving economic growth
