Ecobank Transnational Incorporated is aiming to buy a stake in Ghana’s Trust Bank with a view to creating a big bank in Ghana. “When the deal is sealed, the combined bank will be better positioned to support the growth and development aspirations and the increasing financial needs of the Ghanaian economy,” Ecobank Group CEO Arnold Ekpe said.
